What is Project Future? - Fact Sheet
Objectives:
Project Future is a non-profit economic development organization
founded in 1982 by leaders from the business, government, labor and
education sectors of St. Joseph County, Indiana. Each group is represented
on Project Future's board of trustees. Contributions from each sector
support the organization's activities.
While working to enhance the economic environment of South Bend,
Mishawaka and St. Joseph County, Project Future acts as a catalyst
between the community and prospective businesses.
In the past 20 years, Project Future has played a role in attracting
and sustaining more than $1 billion in capital investments in St.
Joseph County.
Activities:
Project Future conducts marketing communications on international, national,
regional and local levels in order to increase awareness of the St.
Joseph County area and generate inquiries from prospective businesses. An organized inquiry answering service, equipped with an extensive
database, provide prospects with the detailed information they need
to make informed site selection decisions.
